You may log in to your Simple Practice patient portal anytime. You will need to enter your email address each time, and then follow the link sent to your email. 

You can access the portal online using the links on this page or using the direct address: https://leahmalhotramd.clientsecure.me, You can also download and use the Simple Practice "Client Portal" ap. 

The portal can be used to send me messages, upload files, receive files, fill out forms, access billing information, change your contact information, update your credit card, and modify your notification settings.

If you need a new prescription, please let me know directly, rather than having your pharmacy contact me. I find this to be much more reliable, and I want to make sure you have what you need!

The fastest and most secure way to contact me is using the Simple Practice messaging system, which you can access through your online portal, or through the Simple Practice Client Portal ap. If you accidentally send your message before you mean to (it happens), just send me another message. 

If for any reason you do not want to use the portal, you can leave me a voicemail. It may take me longer to get back to you this way while I find a private place to return your call, but it is confidential and secure. You can also fax me securely. 

I take protection of your personal information very seriously. For this reason, I do not exchange emails with patients due to fewer privacy safeguards.  

For an emergency, please don't wait for my reply -- call 911 or go to the emergency room.

I have a 1 week (5 business day) cancellation policy. I save your appointment time just for you and make appointments in advance. More advanced notice is always appreciated, and I absolutely will extend the same courtesies to you. If you are sick or there is an emergency, there is no charge to cancel or reschedule. If you think you might have something contagious and are still up for an appointment, I want to see you and just ask that we pivot to virtual so we can all stay healthy. 

You will get a statement once per month that is auto-generated and available in your Simple Practice portal. If you need statements sooner, always feel free to ask. I am happy to provide them as frequently as you need.
